We happily accept returns within 14 days from date of delivery. All returns must be received in the same condition and packaging we sent them. Postage charges will not be refunded on unwanted products.

You are solely responsible for ensuring the goods are returned to us. We will not be liable for returns that are lost in the post or lost for any other reason. If a product arrives damaged we will advise the customer how to return the item with all return costs covered by us.  Replacements & refunds will be dispatched / issued on receipt of the returned items only.

Alsike will grow better on wetter and more acidic soils than other clovers including red clover. Alsike will grow at a lower pH than the other clovers and was formerly used to avoid 'clover sickness' which arose from red clover being grown too frequently. Unlike the annual clovers, this species will survive during the winter unless temperatures are exceptionally cold.

Clover seed is small and sensitive to depth so it is critical to shallow sow or surface broadcast with good seed bed consolidation. Small seeds prefer a well worked but firm seedbed. Alsike clover seed is approximately half the size of red clover seed.

Ideally this should be sown into warm soils in the spring or before soils start to cool in the autumn. The establishment is less reliable after the middle of September.

Sowing Rate Advice; 2g per square metre, 6kgs per acre / 15kg per ha.
If creating your own grass seed mix, only allow 3% to be made up of clover.
