Onion Red Brunswick is a late maturing semi flat bulbs of dark red, medium to large in size with excellent flavour. This variety is very decorative, fresh in salads or cooked with pasta.

    We happily accept returns within 14 days from date of delivery. All returns must be received in the same condition and packaging we sent them. Postage charges will not be refunded on unwanted products.

    You are solely responsible for ensuring the goods are returned to us. We will not be liable for returns that are lost in the post or lost for any other reason. If a product arrives damaged we will advise the customer how to return the item with all return costs covered by us.  Replacements & refunds will be dispatched / issued on receipt of the returned items only.

    Where To Sow: Sow in trays or modules under glass at 16°C, or for late March and April, direct into open ground in shallow drills 1cm deep with 25cm between rows

    What To Do Next: As soon as seedlings have grown to about 5cm tall, carefully thin out. Although module sown seed can be left with four seedlings. Gradually harden off for planting outside from late March. Outdoor seedlings should continue to be thinned until about 10cm apart.

    Handy Tip: Very attractive for use raw in salads. Slice across the bulbs to produce lovely red and white rings

    Nutritional Value: A good source of antioxidants such as beta-carotene, lutein and vitamin C as well as vitamin K.

    Companion Plants: Beetroot, Carrot, Lettuce, Cabbage Family. Avoid Beans, Peas
