From the Legume plant family, the benefits of white clover green manure seeds are excellent long-term green manure, low growing variety that can be inter-sown in between soft fruit eg Blackcurrants, a living mulch. For soil type, most will do but especially silt loam & clay soils but it can still be tolerant of poor drainage. Growing time can range between 6 months or 2-5 years and should be sowed March to August.

When to Sow; March, April, May, June, July & August.
Growing Period; 6 months or 2-5 years.
Ideal Soil Type; Most especially silt loam & clay soils but can be tolerant of poor drainage.
How to Sow; Clear weeds, especially perennial ones. Rake the soil to a fine tilth and broadcast sow seeds at a rate of 1.5g per m2. Rake in to a depth of 0.5cm, firm soil and lightly water. Keep moist to help germination.
