A shrub or small tree to 4 m tall with large, paddle shaped leaves and a terminal, branched, hairy inflorescence with pinkish flowers. It is native only to disturbed dry deciduous forest on Ecuador's Pacific coast and was botanically described as recently as 2006. It is easy to grow, tolerant of drought and best suited to tropical climates.

We happily accept returns within 14 days from date of delivery. All returns must be received in the same condition and packaging we sent them. Postage charges will not be refunded on unwanted products.
You are solely responsible for ensuring the goods are returned to us. We will not be liable for returns that are lost in the post or lost for any other reason. If a product arrives damaged we will advise the customer how to return the item with all return costs covered by us. Replacements & refunds will be dispatched / issued on receipt of the returned items only.
Easily grown in any rich, well-drained soil in a sunny spot throughout the year, in colder areas keep slightly drier and frost-free in winter at a minimum of some 15°C in full sun.
Sow dustlike seed on top of any rich, well drained substrate at some 20°C to 30°C throughout the year. Do not cover seeds with soil. Keep pots always slightly moist from below and transplant seedlings to larger pots with their fifth pair of leaves. Especially seedlings require plenty of light.
